About stair typeface

When walking around New York, a common sight on the streets is the emergency exit stairs. I wanted to incorporate the common sights we see in our daily lives.

Ratio and Grid

The ratio was 4:3 by dividing the upper part and the lower part.

What I focused on the most was showing the shape of the emergency stairs, and using the opposite ratio to give a difference from the existing type face.
